The patented Cho-Pat Original Knee Strap has been praised and recommended for over 30 years by orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists, physical therapists, and professional athletes. The reason the Original Knee Strap is so highly regarded is that it provides many individuals a significant reduction of pain and discomfort shortly after its initial use and allows them to return to their normal activities with increased mobility.
The Cho-Pat Original Knee Strap stabilizes and tightens up on the kneecap mechanism by applying pressure upon the patellar tendon below the kneecap. The compression provided by the Original Knee Strap reduces or eliminates inflammation and helps prevent knees from giving out.
People can experience knee pain because of a number of knee disorders including: runner’s knee, jumper’s knee, Osgood Schlatter’s Disease, arthritis, weak knees, chondromalacia patella, and patellar tendonitis. Runner’s knee is an overuse injury that is common among athletes who participate in sports in which they do a lot of running and jumping, but runner’s knee is not limited to only those individuals. Runner’s knee will typically start as a dull pain in the front of the knee. If left untreated, runner’s knee pain will often worsen.
